Merry Christmas
Last on my Christmas Card Countdown is this year's creation... I used my Big On Christmas stamp set from Stampin' Up! to stamp the center, then used several layers of paper to make it nice and cozy. And the final touch, a brown ribbon to tie it all together ! Ha! A Pun! 5 more days til Christmas... Happy crafting!

Christmas IV
This Christmas card was made using my Big on Christmas stamp set from Stampin' Up! It's super simple so if I were to make this card again, I'd give it a nice big bow down on the bottom... If fact, I think that's what I attempted to do when I originally made them, but couldn't make the bows work to mail and gave up. 13 days til Christmas... Happy crafting!

Christmas III
Now this was last year's Christmas card, still made using the same Cricut cartridge and Stampin' Up! stamp sets. I actually cheated a little by cutting out the 5 trees, gluing them down, then scanning them into the computer and using that image for the rest of my 30+ Christmas cards. All in all, I was pleased with how they turned out. 15 days til Christmas... Happy crafting!

Christmas II
For this Christmas card I used the same It's a Stretch Cricut cartridge, as well as the same christmas stamp from Stampin' Up! But this time I added some polka dotted circles from my Think Happy Thoughts stamp set from Stampin' Up! I love how rustic this one turned out. 17 days til Christmas... Happy crafting!

Thanksgiving Decor
So the boyfriend and I had a couple friends over for a Vegetarian Thanksgiving... it tasted so much better than it sounds! We had the most amazing French Onion Soup I have ever tasted, compliments of Linda. We also had Tofurkey, mashed potatoes, green beans with fried onions and mushrooms, and sweet potatoes with cranberries and pecans. Of course, we had apple pie and vanilla ice cream for dessert. Below are the pictures of the table decor I put together at the last minute... literally. I went to set the table, it looked bare, so threw some things together. I found a bag of beans in the cabinet, put them in small juice glasses, then added tealight candles. Centerpiece, done. I then went in the backyard (with a flashlight looking totally rediculous) to find some leaves, wrote our names on the back, and tied with cooking string. Place Cards, done. And finally, I felt the wine glasses just needed a little extra touch, so I tied that same cooking string into little bows on the stem. Girly Bows, done. I was really quite proud. Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving! Happy crafting!

Recipe Boxes
I have officially begun my Christmas crafts... and have even finished a few! Below are the Recipe Boxes I made for all my married/newlywed friends. I had to purchase the tin boxes online, but they are well worth it. The "Recipes" cover was pressed into the clear lid of the box and the ribbon wrapped around was attached with a hot glue gun. I also attached a length of ribbon on the bottom of the box, under the recipe cards, in order to more easily pull out the recipe cards. The recipe cards were designed on the computer and printed on cardstock. And as a final touch, I included a few of my favorite recipes! Easy as pie! (There I go with those puns again.) Happy crafting!

Thanksgiving I
As Thanksgiving approaches, I get really excited for the cool fall weather, the comfy fall sweaters, the warm fall colors, and of course, the much needed Thanksgiving Break! I get a full week off this year and I will most likely spend a lot of it making cards... Below is last year's Thanksgiving card which I made using my Stampin' Up! Season of Friendship stamp set. I love the simplicity of it! Happy Thanksgiving and happy crafting!

Weddings
So I got to dress up and play "bridesmaid" last weekend as one of my good friends, Heather, got married! YAY! As wedding plans and preparations were being made, of course I jumped at the chance to help make anything I could... Below are the products I got to help create. I worked with Heather to design and put together the Escort Cards and Wedding Favor Tags. Heather's Grandma baked all the cookies that were given as favors... for almost 200 guests! Needless to say, I had a lot of fun and am overjoyed that I got to be a part of her special day. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Honeybear! Happy crafting!

Love in Every Language
If I haven't already mentioned this, most of the cards I make are for the boyfriend, Daniel Jamal, because he's awesome. This one is clearly no exception. I actually made this card entirely on the computer... I looked up the word LOVE in every language I could think of and pieced them all together in different shades of red. Basically, this card says LOVE over and over and over again... fancy, huh? Happy crafting!

Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween! Below is the card I made for Halloween this year... Unfortunately, the boyfriend is the only one who gets one because I ran out of glue and didn't make it to JoAnn's before they closed. Oh, well. I used the tree from my Season of Friendship stamp set from Stampin' Up! I get so much use out of that stamp set. It's awesome! Happy Halloween and happy crafting!
