Father's Day
So I know most people say that their dad is the greatest ever, but they lie. My dad is the greatest ever. Seriously. My dad kicks every other dad's butt... not literally, he's super nonviolent... which is one reason he's the greatest! My dad is unbelievably calm, considerate, dedicated, driven, ethical, honest, patient, and so super supportive! He's so awesome his initials spell dad! Seriously. D.A.D. (middle name Alvin, hehe). So happy belated Father's Day to all the second greatest dads out there. And a special Happy Father's Day to mine!

Valentine's Day
I love Valentine's Day! I love any excuse I can get to tell my boyfriend how much I love him and to be all sappy and romantic. Happy Valentine's Day, Love! You're amazing and awesome and I love you!
To Make: Print Alphabet (click here) on white cardstock, cut to 5.25" x 4". Mount on red cardstock, cut to 5.5" x 8.25" and folded in half. Cut additional heart and adhere to card with raised dot.

Greeting Card Gift Sets
I hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas! Each year, I make sets of cards for the aunts and moms in my life (my aunt and mom, as well as Daniel's grandma and mom). This year I included Daniel's aunt on the list, as well. And in addition to the usual set of cards with envelopes, I created return address labels to match the cards... I'm slowly, but surely using more digital means to complete my crafts... SLOWLY! I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.
I used my Awash with Flowers stamp set to create these for my Aunt Toogie.

And here is the return address label I created to match the card set. And here is the tutorial I used to figure out how the heck to upload the label for you, compliments of my BFF, Miss Kindergarten.

Christmas Card
This year's Christmas Card was very appropriately made using the first Christmas gift I received from Daniel... my Season of Friendship stamp set. I absolutely love this stamp set and probably use it more than any other. It's just so versatile! So hopefully this Christmas Card finds you well this holiday season... Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
To Make:
Suplies: Season of Friendship stamp set; Real Red (cardstock and stamp pad); Chocolate Chip (cardstock and stamp pad); Kraft (cardstock); Whisper White (cardstock and stamp pad). I found that tearing the white cardstock by hand was easiest.

Halloween
Happy Halloween! I'm slowly but surely learning to make some of my cards digitally. This card is proof of my progress. {Believe me when I say that I've come a long way.} I hope you all enjoy dressing up and probably eating way too much candy!

Mother's Day Card
Another Mother's Day card... I made this card using a combination of Cricut and Stampin' Up! supplies. I cut the barrel using my A Walk in My Garden Cricut cartridge, then stamped some small flowers.... I won't lie, this card is not my best work. Good thought, poor execution. However, I'm sure it was still much appreciated. Again, happy Mother's Day and happy crafting!

Mother's Day Card
This was last year's Mother's Day card. I used Really Rust, Certainly Celery, and Chocolate Chip from Stampin' Up!. For the center, I stamped a layered flower from my Heartfelt Thanks stamp set from Stampin' Up! on white cardstock then cut into three pieces, using glue dots to adhere them with some space in between. And viola! Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day! Since I liked using patterned paper so much on the Dragonfly Birthday Card, I decided to use the same design for my Mother's Day cards. Honestly, I didn't have time to design a different card... but I did use a different patterned paper! I think flowers are quite fitting for Mother's Day.
Shout Out to my Mom: My mom is awesome. She's always been awesome... super involved and supportive of everything I've ever done. And even as an adult, she takes such good care of me... This week, I woke up in the middle of the night with aweful back pain. She took me to the emergency room where we spent the morning (obviously without sleep) before heading home to get ready for work. I worked a 6 hour day and came home early, but my mom worked a 10 hour day! Like I said, she's awesome.
I will post some of the Mother's Day cards I have made in past years over the course of the week. Happy Mother's Day and happy crafting!

Easter
I kept this year's Easter Card pretty simple. I added some simple patterned paper to a cream base, tied a knot with some More Mustard ribbon, crumpled some kraft paper, and stamped a simple cross with Close to Cocoa. And! While I was making these cards, the boyfriend was studying, so I enlisted his crumbling expertise... He crumpled all the craft paper for me! Isn't he the best? Happy Easter and happy crafting all!

Valentine's Day III
It's finally Valentine's Day! Happy Valentine's Day to my very special valentine, Daniel. I love you lots! As I said before, I have the day off (YAY!) and I plan to spend every moment possible with my absolutely awesome and superbly sweet boyfriend. Normally we only get to spend weekends (late Friday through early Sunday) together, so a Monday off is a real treat! In the plans for today: straberries dipped in chocolate. Below is my Valentine's Day card for this year which I made using one of the heart stamps from my Simply Said stamp set from Stampin' Up!. Also pictured is a matching milk carton filled with goodies. I love that an absurd amount of chocolate is totally okay on Valentine's Day! I also love (as I mentioned before) that on this day each year it is totally okay for me to want to cuddle and say "I love you" every moment of the day! Yay for oversharing love! Happy Valentine's Day and happy crafting!

Valentine's Day II
Below is my Valentine's Day card from last year. I was really into using torn paper (who am I kidding? I still am!). Anyway, I used one of the stamps from my A Little Bit of Happiness stamp set from Stampin' Up! (see my Thanksgiving II post for a card made with another stamp from the same stamp set). I love how lovey dovey everything and everyone is around Valentine's Day... It makes me seem a bit more normally for just a couple weeks! Happy Valentine's Day and happy crafting!

Valentine's Day I
Valentine's Day is fast approaching and I can't wait to spend my day off (YES! I totally get the day off!) with my super sweet valentine. I'm thinking strawberries dipped in chocolate (my favorite) and pajamas all day (my other favorite)! Below is my Valentine's Day card from two years ago. I used my Cricut to cut the heart-like flower. And I will admit, this card is probably one of my favorites... simple and sweet. Happy Valentine's Day and happy crafting!

Merry Christmas
Last on my Christmas Card Countdown is this year's creation... I used my Big On Christmas stamp set from Stampin' Up! to stamp the center, then used several layers of paper to make it nice and cozy. And the final touch, a brown ribbon to tie it all together ! Ha! A Pun! 5 more days til Christmas... Happy crafting!

Christmas IV
This Christmas card was made using my Big on Christmas stamp set from Stampin' Up! It's super simple so if I were to make this card again, I'd give it a nice big bow down on the bottom... If fact, I think that's what I attempted to do when I originally made them, but couldn't make the bows work to mail and gave up. 13 days til Christmas... Happy crafting!
