Fashionably Late

I rarely miss a birthday, but when I do I can still give a cute card like this one! I used my Chic Boutique stamp set from Stampin' Up!, some patterned paper, and ribbon to add some style to the wording at the bottom which was just printed off my computer using a DJ Inkers font (DJ Fancy). So happy belated birthday to everyone! And happy crafting!

Hearts

Another baby card... I made this card to coordinate with a couple of outfits my mom bought for a friend's granddaughter. The green background, brown trim, and row of three hearts matches one onesie. And the off-white with colorful hearts matches a second onesie. There was a third onesie, but I figured I had enough going on already! Super cute, super coordinated... Happy crafting!

Minis

Who doesn't love a mini card that boosts your ego? Below are some cute 3"x3" cards that do just that... sweeter than apple pie, one smart cookie, and orange you cute. For these I used my One Smart Cookie stamp set from Stampin' Up! Happy crafting!

Back to School

I absolutely LOVE the first day of school! I have so much fun attempting to pronounce my students' names correctly (I didn't do so well the first day) and watching them interact with all the friends they haven't seen all summer. I think I laughed more on the first day of school than all summer combined... it's funny remembering how obnoxious I was as a student! So, in the theme of back to school, I chose to post a card with apples. I made this card forever-ago for the boyfriend's mom, Jan... she might love apples more than I do... might. I found patterned apple paper at JoAnn's and stacked it on top of two different shades of kraft cardstock. I then used a twine bow to top it off. Ta da! Happy crafting!

Beach Scene

Today is the last day of summer... And I am SO EXCITED for school to start! You see, I get REALLY bored by the end of the summer. Maybe I should consider year-round school? Below is a card that I believe I made last summer for the boyfriend's grandma... I used actual sand paper, but it was a nightmare to glue. The shells were cut using my Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cartridge and the birds and sky were just drawn by hand. I hope you're enjoying the last of your summer! Happy crafting!
